Over the years shooting I have taken photos of some hot guys!  My gallery of hot guys! on my photo website has had by miles the highest number of hits! I wonder why!  http://pkimage.co.uk/hotguys

Most photographers are male and they enjoy shooting females, so its the other way round for me and I enjoy shooting good looking men,  as one of the few female photographers and being used to the male scrum at some shoots!

Rufus Wainwright Concert Hall

Rufus Wainwright , American-Canadian, singer songwriter and composer, performed at Glasgow Concert hall 2010. He has recorded seven albums of original music and numerous tracks on compilations and film soundtracks. He is the son of folk singers Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwirght III.  In 2014 Rufus is releasing an album of best of songs, called Vibrate and also touring.

At Celtic Conntections there are also crossovers between folk and American bluegrass. It's often though taking music in new directions and through challenging and interesting collaborations that the best music occurs.

Jerry Douglas Transatlantic Sessions

Photos of Jerry Douglas, American world-renowned Dobro master, performing at Transatlantic Sessions Glasgow Concert hall, as part of Celtic Connections 2014.

There was the emotion of Aly’s fiddle and the highly individual melodic drama of Jerry Douglas’s resonator guitar - a highlight of the night is his solo, at the start of the second half. (Douglas is an award winning American Dobro master). I enjoy his guitar melodies such as his tune for Aly Bain.

 He is a Music Director of the popular BBC Television series, "Transatlantic Sessions".  Since 1998, Douglas has been a member of Alison Krauss and Union Station.   Copyright Pauline Keightley.

Lindi Ortega at Celtic Connections

Lindi Ortega, Canadian singer-songwriter, performed at Roaming Roots Revue concert Celtic Connections 2014. She has released 5 albums, recently Tin Star in October 2013.
