Drawing on influences as diverse as folk legends the Waterboys to Canadian rockers Arcade Fire - this band's sound might be called ‘Celtic rock’. The band includes fiddle, guitar, bass, keys, drums, trumpet, and cello. I took photos this fun band at several gigs in 2009 - from the Oran Mor Glasgow, to the Queens Halls Edinburgh as part of the Edge festival. These shots are from the Queens hall - a converted church. Broken Records went to the SXSW Austen Texas 2010. I really enjoy these really low contrast low light photos. What is odd, is how with some photos I like them more over time.
