Celtic Connections 2013 20th Celebration concert, Concert Hall Glasgow

A stellar cast of Scottish folk artists took to the concert hall stage Thursday night for a 20th celebration concert of Celtic Connections. Some had taken part in the first ever Celtic Connections -  such as the outstanding singer Sheena Wellington and the New Rope string band. This was a quality line up with some of the best that Scotland has to offer as well as Irish singer Cara Dillon, traditional a folk singer Archie Fisher and American folk band Flook. Alongside Scottish pipers were some of the best from the present Scottish folk scene - including Eddi Reader, Michael McKondrick, John McCusker, and Capercaille. cd http://pkimage.co.uk/20thconcertcelticconnections

Photos Emeli Sande Royal Albert Hall

It was my huge honour and privilege to take photos of Emeli Sande at her Albert Hall concert this November. I have followed her career in music since 2007 and I have met her at her King Tuts gig, so I knew how much it all meant to her. It was a very special day for me too!  I never thought I’d go to this iconic venue never mind take photos there. I can’t really begin to say what that meant for me.
Emeli has had the top selling album of 2012.
Some days are extraordinary days.
